About Me:Khalid Rushaka OLY is a Beijing 2008 Olympian and a leading figure in Tanzanian aquatics. Based in Dar es Salaam, he serves as Head Coach of North Coast Swimming Club and Secretary General of the Tanzania Olympians Association. Khalid is also an active Masters swimmer and the Technical Director of the Tanzania National Masters Swimming Committee, championing opportunities for adult athletes and raising national standards for Masters competition. He designs long-term athlete development pathways, runs high-performance training camps, and mentors juniors and seniors alongside Masters programs. With qualifications in sports management and an international coaching diploma, he partners with World Aquatics, IOC Athlete365, and the World Olympians Association to advance coach education, athlete welfare, and open-water safety across Tanzania.
